Let's Build A Better Nation

Who We Are

The mission of Brothers Building A Better Nation (BBABN) is to empower young men of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) backgrounds, aged 16 to 29, in Newark, New Jersey, by reducing the risks of self-harm and incarceration. We achieve this by fostering community engagement, championing advocacy, facilitating health education, and providing comprehensive support services, all designed to cultivate a positive and enduring impact on the lives of these individuals and their communities.

By partnering with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies, our organization utilizes direct intervention to provide wraparound services to the at risk males in our community. This includes receiving healthcare services, government IDs, emergency housing services, job training opportunities, and more!

As a 501 (c)(3) organization, our goal is to build a pipeline that improves the lives of these young males,

their families, and communities by working to remove barriers that hinder their health and well-being.

Your financial contributions will help provide education, employment, healthcare, and housing opportunities for at risk minority male youth.

Whether it’s volunteering on initiatives, offering  mentorship or partnering your organization with ours,

there are many ways the community can support the mission.
